No. 1 : After hot rolling, this steel is annealed and pickled, and than used for cold rolling materials, cut-length, tanks and pipes. |
No. 2D : After cold rolling, heat treatment and picking, this type of steel has a dull mat finish. It is used for petrochemical plants, automobile wheels and constructions materials. |
No. 2B : This is No. 2D-type steel which has been skinpassed giving it a brighter surface than No. 2D-type steel. It is used in kitchen utensils, building materials, industrial equipment and medical instruments. |
No. 3 : This is No. 2B-type steel which has been polished with 100-120 mesh abrasive paper, giving it a brighter surface finish. It is used in construction materials and in industrial art objects. |
No. 4 : This type of steel is made by polishing No. 2D or No. 2B-type steel with 150-180 mesh abrasive paper, giving it a no highly reflective surface. It is used in kitchen utensils, medical instruments, automobile wheels and building materials. |
BA : This is bright heat-treated steel done after the cold rolling process, giving it a high reflective surface. It is used for automobile rear mirrors, kitchen utensils and construction interior materials. |
HL : This type of steel is made by polishing the No. 4-type steel with a proper grit-sized abrasive paper, having continuous scratch patterns. It is used for interior and exterior construction materials, sashed, doors and elevators. |
DULL : This type of steel is made by copying the rolling unevenness of the surface through fine-prominence and depression rolling. It lacks luster and does not have a silver-whit surface. It is used in building materials that do not require luster, such as the exteriar materials of railroad vehicles. |
